We contribute to equal opportunities in the Spanish educational system.
In Spain, public investment in children has decreased considerably since the beginning of the economic crisis, generating greater inequalities. The families in poverty situation have difficulties to pay the expenses related to the education of their children.
Ayuda en Acción will provide school materials to children living in poverty, thus favoring equal opportunities.

Spain is the third State in Europe with the most child poverty, with 30% of children at risk of poverty and social exclusion. It is also one of the countries with the highest inequality between high and low incomes. There is an inadequate investment in education, which precarizes the system of scholarships and study aids, especially in the early compulsory school stages.
As a result of the pandemic crisis, the living conditions of families in vulnerable situations have worsened. Due to economic difficulties, they can not afford to pay for school materials or leisure activities for their children.
The program "Aquí también" of the NGO Ayuda en Acción aims to confront the situations of social exclusion that take place in Spain and that mainly affect children and adolescents and their families, trying to prevent situations of poverty and inequality from being inherited. They want to prevent children and adolescents who suffer the impact of poverty to be vulnerable in adulthood.
