Provide school kits to 250 boys and girls so that they have individual material and thus prevent contagion.
The social crisis derived from the health emergency caused by COVID-19 is having its greatest impact on the most vulnerable families. During the last months, the inequalities that boys and girls were already suffering from have widened. For this reason, Save the Children wants to guarantee a safe and adequate return to school so that no child is left behind.

During both the lockdown and the vacation period, the inequalities of boys and girls in a situation or risk of social exclusion and poverty have been enlarged and made evident. Job insecurity, unemployment, and the economic stress experienced by families affect children's school success and mental health.
Save the Children has identified different risks that require an effective intervention as soon as possible, such as the fact that the most vulnerable families do not have enough resources to purchase school supplies or personal protective equipment. For this reason, it will provide not only kits of school supplies and educational reinforcement to children, but also psychosocial support to families to guarantee a safe return to the new reality.
